The Community Development Department Planning Division has been hard at work developing a master plan to promote safe travel by bicycle and walking in our community. The Plan adoption draft has recently been completed and is now available for public review and comment.
A Town Council public hearing for final adoption of the Plan is scheduled for Monday, July 17 at 7 p.m. The adoption draft is available for view on the Let's Talk Parker project page. Comments can be provided in the "Ideas" section, or at the July 17 public hearing.
Thank you to all of the citizens who have followed the project and provided valuable input! The Plan, developed as a supplement to the Parker Transportation Master Plan, will serve as the Town's policy document and ‘road map’ to further support safe, comfortable and connected bike and pedestrian infrastructure. The new Plan includes recommendations for developing an enhanced multimodal network and cohesive Townwide bicycle and pedestrian facilities for all users.
