Join us on the Cherry Creek Trail at E-470 for Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 28.
The Town of Parker and Kaiser Permanente invite you to join the Way to Go team, a program of Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), and 25,000 commuters who participate in this great event that promotes awareness of the benefits of biking.
Fuel up at the Town of Parker Breakfast Station located at the Cherry Creek Trail under the E-470 overpass from 6 to 9 a.m. (Please be advised, due to conditions at the traditional station location from last week's rain events, the station has been moved further south along the Cherry Creek Trail, just east of the USMC CPL David M. Sonka Dog Park.) Kaiser Permanente, Rocky Vista University (RVU) and the Bagel Stop Café are partnering with the Town and will be giving away T-shirts to the first 250 riders who stop by our breakfast station. Come early as these customized tees are very popular!
There will be bagels and coffee courtesy of the Bagel Stop Café and grab-and-go nutrition bars and fresh bananas compliments of Natural Grocers, as well as water on site to refill your water bottles. Slim Chickens staff will be on hand, and bike technicians from Mike's Bikes will be available to assist cyclists with any minor repair needs.
