[ARCHIVED] Roadway Slurry Seal Project Begins in May

Roadway Construction

The Town of Parker has contracted with Vance Brothers, Inc. to perform roadway preservation treatment and preventive maintenance work in several residential areas starting in mid-May.

When a neighborhood has been selected for slurry seal preservation treatment, approximately half of the streets in that neighborhood will need to be closed completely for a period up to eight hours, depending on weather conditions. Other adjacent streets will remain open to allow nearby access for parking and getting to your home on foot during the time of the closure. Once these streets have dried and reopened to traffic, the other half of the neighborhood will be treated in an identical fashion.

Additional details, including specific project dates, will be distributed to your home when they become available if your neighborhood has been scheduled for service. No Parking signs will also be placed in impacted neighborhoods when work is set to begin.

For more details about road work scheduled to occur in Parker, including an online map related to this project, visit or call 303.840.9546.
